HOCKEY

Indoor hockey is an indoor variant of outdoor "field" hockey.
It is not to be confused with rink hockey or inline hockey.
It is mainly played as a pastime by outdoor field hockey players during the off-season or when conditions are unsuitable for outdoor play
HOW IT WORKS
At the start, the ball is passed backwards from the center line, after which opposition players may try to gain possession of the ball
The ball is “live” at all times, off all nets
A goal is scored when the whole ball has passed over the goal line (a goal cannot be scored directly off a net)
After 15 minutes, teams change sides
